Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the department (arrival/departure/group/VIP) and ensures that company standards are met. This person will work closely with the front desk and engineering department. As the industry is ever-changing, the responsibilities of this position will change and evolve accordingly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of employees
- Plan and assign tasks to staff members
- Adjust schedules based on occupancy levels
- Manage stocks of cleaning products and guest supplies
- Ensure compliance with rules and procedures (Atlific & Marriott standards)
- Participate in employee performance management
- Ensure the health and safety of personnel
- Coordinate services with external companies/suppliers
- Coach and mentor employees
- Inspect rooms
- Participate in the disciplinary process
- Ensure quality customer service and manage customer complaints

**Required Qualifications**:

- College diploma in hotel management
- 2 years of experience in the hotel industry
- Experience in a unionized environment is an asset

**Languages**: Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written, is required for this position as we serve an international clientele.
