Dave’s Powder Coating is the premier location for specialty and exotic colour powder coating. This allows us to take on a wide variety of projects keeping everyday similar but different. We are an established and fast-growing powder coating company looking to expand its team. We are a customer centric company focusing on providing an excellent experience start to finish, not just an excellent job. We are hiring for a full-time sand blaster/shop helper to keep up with the increasing work load. There is shift flexibility with this position as we are open 11h most week days and 8h on Saturdays. This position is available for immediate start.

**Our hours: Mon 9-8, Tues 10-8, Wed-Fri 9-8, Sat 10-6**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Abrades surfaces of items to remove scale, paint, rust, and dirt ready using abrasive-blasting equipment.
- Examines and inspects finished parts to ensure even finish as specified
- Loads and organizes inventory
- Maintains cleanliness of shop equipment and work area
- Masks specified areas of object to protect from abrading action
- Reports worn PPE, equipment, or consumables to leader
- Able to lift 50lbs unassisted
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Good attitude
- Fluent in spoken English
- Able to regularly lift 50lbs unassisted
- Able to stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation

Wage: $18-25 per hour
