Head Server/supervisor

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- To serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to company standard
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking food, drink orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including checking IDs for age verification.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
- Cooperate with the General Manager to ensure company standards are executed
- To follow company standards guidelines, to lead by example.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Italian food and beverages and inventory
- Previous experience in Fine Dining is a must
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol regulations is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS Silverware system, Open Table, end of day reports.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting

Pay: $18.50 per hour

- Every Weekend
- Weekends as needed

- Stouffville, ON L4A 1A5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bartending: 3 years (required)
- serving: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (required)

Work Location: In person
