**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Coordinator to join our team in Surrey. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient yard operations, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional transportation services. Your efforts will directly support our commitment to safety and timely deliveries.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily yard operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Coordinate the movement of trucks and trailers within the yard.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes effectively.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading of containers as needed.
- Train and supervise yard staff to maintain high operational standards.
- Perform regular inspections of yard equipment.
- **Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics management.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Capacity for heavy lifting and physical labor.
- Must have Container Yard experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.06-$27.46 per hour
