Delivery Driver Shipping and Receiving Assistant

We're looking for a **dedicated and experienced**Delivery Driver Shipping and Receiving Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods, from delivery to dispatch, while supporting our Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.

What You'll Do:

- **Safely deliver orders** to customers and vendors using a cube van, maintaining a **clean driving record**.
- **Assist the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor** with daily operations, acting as a key support for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- **Direct and coordinate** the verification of shipment documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- **Strategically determine shipping priorities** to meet deadlines and optimize logistics.
- **Assign and oversee work tasks** for the shipping and receiving team, fostering a productive environment.
- **Develop and implement efficient shipping procedures** to streamline operations and improve workflow.
- **Assess and determine storage space requirements** to ensure optimal organization of inventory.
- **Supervise loading and unloading operations**, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- **Maintain meticulous records** of all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.

What You'll Bring:

- **Superior time management skills** to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- A **valid driver's license with a clean driving record** and experience operating a cube van.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting and/or supply chain management training is highly valued.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
