**Summary**

As an Inventory Associate you will review and investigate discrepancies found in locations daily, as well as perform cycle counts. Your communication skills will assist with speaking to all levels of team members. You will communicate all findings and/or results of investigations to department manager and or supervisor.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Investigate inventory discrepancies
- Problem solving skills to identify and resolve inventory problems for the area responsible for in a timely manner
- Gathers and analyzes information
- Strong communication skills to report all findings of investigations to department manager and or Supervisor
- Complete daily cycle counts in a timely manner.
- Strives to increase productivity
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
- Looks for ways to improve inventory accuracy.
- Verbalized feedback to improve production performance
- Communicate findings and recommendations to department managers and or supervisors in a timely manner
- Investigate and report findings to supervisor/department managers
- Reports, why the negative inventory occurred
- Identifies what department will fix the negative inventory
- Works with departments in determining inventory
- Reviews and works with the inventory coordinator on the safety stock levels in areas
- Reviews how well the safety stock levels are working for production and purchasing; makes changes where necessary
- Reviews, maintains and orders Kanban parts from several sources daily which the department manager and or supervisor have established
- Order Kanban items in a timely manner according to procedure
- Report all discrepancies when material has been received
- Responsible for the non-inventory items such as office supplies that are needed

**Education and/or Experience**
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2-5 years’ experience in fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to input and create report in SAP system
- Adhere to and enforce safety requirement
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Must have 2 -3 years’ experience with a forklift (sit down, stand up and high lift)
- Problem Solving
