Quality Assurance Coordinator

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will fulfill an integral role in the success of Ionomr Innovations Inc. ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 certification and product quality management.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, and working with cross functional teams, the Quality Assurance Coordinator will have the opportunity to develop product and process quality improvements based on market growth and customer requirements in a dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities include**:
ISO 9001:2015/ISO 14001
- Assist in the development and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001
- Coordinate the Equipment Management Program including calibration scheduling and maintenance
- Coordinate and manage the QMS and EMS Training and Document Control, reviewing, updating and/or creating policies, procedures and work instructions
- Support the development of quality programs including vendor management, customer feedback, review of certificates of conformance, product inspectionand quarantine
- Support the maintenance of databases and record retention
- Maintain appropriate communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform internal audits on a variety of topics including standard operating processes, and document control
- Assist in RMA, customer complaint and non-conformance investigation, and implement corrective and preventive actions and other continual improvement measures
- Performs other duties as requested by Quality management
Product/Process Quality
- Responsible for tracking production quality through the manufacturing process
- Report failures and delays observed in production runs, records the rates at which they are occurring
- Develop solutions based on production evaluation in order to minimize the overall manufacturing cycle time
- Discuss solutions and make appropriate recommendations to Quality Manager
- Track product quality for the first 60 days of life while in the customer’s hands
- High school diploma plus 3 years of manufacturing quality work history or Post-secondary education with minimum two years of relevant job experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 and GMP processes
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Visio)
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Uncompromising dedication to quality
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Teamwork oriented and focused with excellent follow through
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
