**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and mileage as required by federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies throughout the transportation process.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. must have at LEAST 1 YEAR LONG HAUL
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly in long-haul transportation.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Skills in automotive repair are a plus for maintaining vehicle functionality during trips.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines.
