Truro, Canada Mary & Larry's Diner & Takeout Full time

Mary & Larry's Diner & Takeout is opening a second location and looking to hire 1-2 cooks to work approximately 20-40 hours a week. These are both new permanent Full and Part time positions. Days, Nights, and weekends are required, with the Fulltime position having every second weekend off. We are a fast paced old school open concept diner serving classic homestyle diner food. Everything we serve is made fresh to order.

JOB DETAILS:

- Prepare and make full menu items properly following standards and details outlined
- Making good cooked to orders, fresh cut fries, burgers, wraps and salads.
- Hand breading and battering fish & chicken
- Daily prep duties including portioning
- Perform cleaning duties and other assigned tasks
- Able to maintain high work ethics and follow direction well
- Food Handlers certificate an asset but not required will pay for training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
