The Bridges and Structures Department operates across Canada from offices in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Quebec City, Toronto and Vancouver.

The Bridges and Structures Department is looking for a Senior Bridges and Structures Engineer who will redefine the local, national and international urban landscape.

What will your contribution to the team be?

Reporting to the bridges and engineering structures team leader, the engineer will be responsible for carrying out engineering acts in the field of bridges and engineering structures such as: development, design, inspection, the evaluation, and the realization of various studies in the field of bridges and works of art. He will be responsible for and will be called upon to carry out technical tasks as a designer, verification or inspector and to act as a project manager according to his strengths, skills, interests and desires for development. He will be called upon to supervise the work of engineers and technicians.

**More specificly**:
Carry out structural projects in bridges and engineering structures (opportunity and pre-project studies, inspection, evaluation, plans and specifications, estimates and work schedule)
Plan, design, estimate and verify
Act as a discipline manager (design, technical) or project manager for the realization of a project
Support the team leader and project managers in other engineering activities associated with this position
Participate in the development and advancement of the field by being involved in internal and external technical committees
Participate in the supervision of junior engineers, CPI and technicians
Contribute to the maintenance of a healthy work environment advocating
Accompany and support fellow workers
Collaborate and coordinate work with other disciplines
Perform various support and verification activities
Continue to develop their skills and expertise
What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural specialization
Master's or doctorate asset in civil engineering, structural specialization
Asset mastery in project management or PMP
Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
Minimum 10 years of work experience in the field of bridges and structures
Have carried out and actively participated in large-scale projects in engineering structures
Have assumed the role of project manager or assistant project manager
Successful completion of training in design, maintenance and inspections of MTQ structures
Fluency in French (spoken and written)
Fluency in English (basic spoken and written)
Hold the ASP Construction card (an asset)
Leadership, professionalism, integrity and excellent organizational skills
Excellent ability to communicate, respond and interact with customers
