At The Soup Meister’s Nephew, we take pride in delivering high-quality, handmade soups with exceptional hospitality. With a rotating selection of 4 soups per day and over 80 varieties, we bring comfort, convenience, and craftsmanship to our customers. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven **Head Chef** to manage daily operations and drive business performance.

**The Role**

As Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, overseeing and participating on both the kitchen and front-of-house teams. You will help maintain our high standards in food quality, customer service, and business operations while supporting a positive and productive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Operational Management** - Assist with cash handling, banking, inventory control, ordering, and POS system updates
- **Team Leadership** - Supervise and support staff, ensuring a motivated and efficient team
- **Customer Service** - Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring outstanding guest experiences
- **Food Quality & Consistency** - Work closely with the kitchen and packaging team to uphold high culinary standards
- **Retail & Merchandising** - Ensure effective product displays and in-store organization
- **Social Media & Promotions** - Support marketing efforts to drive customer engagement

**Compensation & Performance Incentives**
- **Base Salary**: $50,000 - $58,000 per year (competitive based on experience)
- **Cash Tips**: Approx. $5,000 annually (pooled, paid weekly, uncapped)
- **Performance-Based Bonuses**: Up to $12,000 annually, tied to business performance and individual contributions
- **Total Potential Compensation**: $67,000 to $75,000+ per year

**Qualifications**

*5+ years culinary experience *2+ years in a leadership role within the food service/hospitality industry *Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment *Experience with inventory management, ordering, POS and Third-Party systems *Excellent communication and customer service skills *Passion for high-quality food and a positive dining experience *A performance-driven mindset with a desire to contribute to business success
