OIC Foods main business activities include ethnic food distribution, manufacturing, co-packing, importing and exporting. OIC Foods is working with some of the most reputed and biggest retail partners in Canada like Walmart, Sobeys, Loblaws, Costco, Save on Foods, Metro, Food Basics and Circle K to name a few.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Digital Media Coordinator, the content creator will update existing material, generate novel work, and identify new ways to reach consumers. They will focus on appealing to consumers' interests by creating engaging material. Must have extensive knowledge and experience of digital publishing platforms and have experience to plan out the content in such a way that it helps in creating leads for the business. Ultimately, an exceptional content creator will promote collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in our company's outputs.

**This role will support OIC Foods and all sister companies.**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Social Media**_
- Managing social media accounts on various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tiktok, Instagram, Snap Chat, YouTube, and more, helping engage and growing the audience;
- Content planning and executing social media plans, scheduling social media calendars, and regularly scheduled updates;
- Promoting our events, programs, services and tools through our social media;
- Analyzing, tracking and reporting social media analytics and metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth. Continuously test new content formats, posting schedules, and tools to enhance performance and optimize content for the greatest impact;
- Determining and executing cross-promotional opportunities including development and sharing of messaging toolkits and promo campaigns;
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy;
- Community engagement by actively engage and respond to comments, messages and social interactions to foster an engaging online community;
- Trend monitoring by staying updated with the latest social media trends, industry news and emerging tools. Adapt strategies and content to leverage new trends or technologies;
- Content creation through develop and produce high-quality, engaging content including photos, videos, graphics, stories and written posts;
- Work closely with the Marketing team, Project Consultants, Site Supervisors and other team members to gather content ideas, schedule photoshoots, and develop other marketing materials, as needed.
- **Photo Compositor **_
- Collating all the materials from the camera, animation and special effects teams, and ensuring they are all compatible;
- Taking responsibility for continuity of shots and effects of the entire work;
- Enhancing lighting effects, creating convincing shadows within a shot, adding motion blur to scenes, and integrating rear projection into background images;
- Working with blue/green screen effects;
- Ability to do some keying, rotoscoping and creating mattes as required;
- Conducting quality assurance of visuals and correcting errors before final composition;
- Photography & Videography through capturing and producing high-resolution photos and videos of our job sites, completed projects, team events and behind-the-scenes activities to showcase across print and digital media;
- Oversee and organize digital assets, including image libraries and videos, ensuring efficient file management.
- **Graphic Illustration**_
- Brainstorming with the marketing and design team to come up with image ideas;
- Preparing and designing rough draft illustrations according to company specifications;
- Creating complete illustrations by combining painting, hand-drawn and digitally created images;
- Ensuring that printed illustrations meet specified color and quality standards.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree/diploma in Marketing, Design, Fine Arts or related fields;
- 1 year experience in social media or digital media;
- Prior experience as a Content Creator as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects;
- You possess strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools, and have a keen eye for design and aesthetics;
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and web-based software programs;
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team;
- Ability to ensure quality of work and attention to detail;
- Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events;
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
