**Talent Acquisition Specialist at Kupar is all about making connections with safe Drivers who are looking to join a great organization. We use a consultative approach and have what it takes to succeed in a high-volume environment.**
**THE ROLE**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with the Recruitment Marketing Specialist and Director of Recruiting to develop region-specific marketing strategy targeting both new and experienced driver hires within the assigned region.
- Interview potential Company Drivers or Owner/Operators.
- Manage recruitment initiatives to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified applicants for the region.
- Identify marketplace trends and play an active role in your talent markets.
- Develop relationships within the trucking industry and local communities to promote a positive image for Kupar.
- Attend local and national recruiting events to increase applicant pipelines and build organizational branding.
- Ability to travel to the assigned region (virtual, until further notice).

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS**
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and related software.
- Applicant Tracking System knowledge a plus.
- Ability to influence others throughout the organization.
- Ability to lead projects to implement new recruiting strategies.
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
The minimum education or formal training for this position includes the following Provincial/State or other vocational or professional certification, trade license, apprenticeship or degree:
- 3-5 years in a full cycle Recruitment role; at least 2 years as a driver recruiter.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources an asset
- HR Certification or Designation an asset
