Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking experienced JM Carpenters for long-term work at our project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Wood framing of partition walls
- Completing interior architectural finishes
- Installing pre-finished drywall
- Installing and taping regular drywall
- Insulating wood partition walls
- Build wood stairs and wheelchair ramps
- Levelling trailers with blocking on steel skids
- Repairing door hardware
- Painting drywall
- Doing the layout including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions
- Cutting and shaping materials and joining them with nails, screws, bolts or glue
- To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyperson in the trade of Carpentry
- Good Physical Condition and able to twist and bend, and perform repetitive type movements
- Able to push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to work at heights
- Experience working on commercial or residential construction sites would be considered an asset
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work

You must have the following:

- CSTS -09
- WHMIS 2015
- Driver’s License Class 5 (NO GDL) and reliable transportation
