**_Join our team as a Facilities Technician 2_**

**What You’ll Do Here**:

- Responsible for the general operation and minor repairs of all Water Heating Boilers, HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning Equipment), Humidifier (using RO System) and Air Compressor.
- Monitor, daily inspections and testing of the building’s fire alarm system, alarm system and gas & diesel generator set.
- Provide minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, repairing appliances, and replacing broken electrical components within the building.
- Responsible for all mechanical repairs such as brazing/welding, plumbing and carpentry. Including but not limited to building and modifying tables, shelving, walls, cabinets, etc.
- Responsible for the ground maintenance including snow clearing all walkways, entrance and exit doors.
- Perform facilities preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on equipment. Trouble shoot and repairing mechanical breakdowns, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Perform all assigned work orders.
- Contact contractors in the absence of Maintenance Supervisor.
- Handle emergency situations

**The Skills You’ll Bring**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Facilities/Building Maintenance
- Read, write, and speak English
- Able to follow instructions
- Must be flexible to work day shift, evening shift and stand-by coverage as required
- Experience operating a variety of equipment and tools, both powered and non-powered.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Boiler, Heating, Refrigeration experience
- Manufacturing Equipment experience
- Electrical knowledge
- General plumbing skills
- General carpentry skills
- General mechanical skills
- Use of hand tools, power tools.

**The Education You'll Have**:

- Building Code
- Electrical building codes
- Safety procedures and proper hand tool safety
- Requires some formal post-secondary education or professional or trade school certificate.
- Prefer 5TH Class Power Engineer

Pay: $44,000.00-$57,500.00 per year
