Ontario Pork is looking for a **Member Services Liaison** to join their team

**Responsibilities**

Job Duties Include:

- Act as Liaison between producers and Ontario Pork by establishing effective, cooperative business relationships with producer body in an effort to educate producers and market services provided by Ontario Pork.
- Ontario Pork’s representative for implementing and educating producers, associations and industry partners about the value in participating in PigTrace and CQA programs.
- Working closely with producers, assist them in implementing various industry programs i.e. CQA (Canadian Quality Assurance, PigTrace, ACA (Animal Care Assessment) etc.
- Assist producers in adopting new technologies, as required.
- Provide Transporter Support through updating all contact information for transporters, organizing resources (hot/cold weather kits, animal handling, etc.), or as required.
- Provide Electronic Manifest support for transporters and producers with login information and linkage to Packers/Ontario Pork/Transporters,
- Assist with upgrades to the program, training Drivers on hand-held units and test alternative devices (i.e. tablets).
- Provide/ source training and other resources to Producers (Human Resources, Animal Welfare, etc.), and others as required.
- Provide support for data uploads and corrections for the National Swine Traceability System in Ontario.
- Support PigTrace by maintaining OPUS files, assisting in setting up premises for producers, follow-up incorrect data transfers, entering swine movement information for producers and industry partners etc.
- Assist with the maintenance and updating of industry data bases i.e. ARC&E.
- Provide producer support through following up with phone calls or attending/speaking at producer meetings on Board-related issues/opportunities, or as required.
- Provide support to CQA by keeping OPUS contact files up to date and printing confirmation letters and printing CQA certificates as required.
- Assist team members as required by Manager of Industry & Member Services.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
Qualifications include:

- Post secondary education, an asset.
- Proficient in electronic communications systems.
- Solid understanding of related production and industry issues.
- Strong research skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
