**Telecom Sales Representative**
If you’re seeking a job in a community nestled amidst Canada’s breathtaking natural landscapes, where quality of life meets convenience, then look no further We are seeking a value-driven, professional, technically capable, confident & energetic **Sales Representative** who is responsible for new sales and customer management of a full suite of fibre-based telecommunications services in Muskoka.
Note: This position requires living in or near Muskoka on a full-time basis, and along with door-to-door residential and business selling, requires work in our Bracebridge office as well as out in the field. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
You will be part of an amazing, smart, supportive team working for a company that has an incredible reputation in the market.
**Responsibilities**:
- Travel to different geographic areas and neighborhoods throughout Muskoka; going door-to-door with the goal of selling and promoting Lakeland Networks Residential and Business Services.
- Achieve sales-related KPIs, including new customer acquisitions and upselling products and services.
- Utilize a solution-based sales approach to identify customer needs and provide tailored service recommendations.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our services.
- Distribute marketing materials and pamphlets to prospective clients.
- Prepare and process customer orders, complete site plans, and coordinate installation schedules.
- Develop and maintain prospect lists and/or leads and conduct timely follow-ups.
- Updating and effective use of customer relationship management software (i.e. Salesforce).
- Network and build relationships through local chambers of commerce, economic development representatives, contractors, developers and local townships.
- Contribute to Sales & Marketing strategies, plans, and tactics.
- Other duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of relevant sales experience, with a strong technical aptitude. Experience in telecommunications is an asset.
- Works well independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions in simple, customer-friendly terms.
- Proven experience in the MS Office suite, CRM’s, and web-based platforms.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Adapts to new technologies smoothly.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Note that Lakeland sales vehicles are available for use when heading out from the office on business-related calls.
- Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week with flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
- Must represent the organization in a professional, organized, and values-based manner.
