**Position Summary**

The Treasury analyst position is responsible for providing a full array support of cash management operational activities including cheque deposit and payment, incoming and outgoing payments, payment exception handling and cash forecasting & positioning. The incumbent will work with our banks to handle the evolution of cash management activities to further streamline and automate daily activities improving efficiency and cost effectiveness. The position will become well versed in treasury operational processes, foster strong relationships with key partners and support the broader operations team. expertise to Bluum across all North American business.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and report cash flow forecasting and positions
- Support ongoing treasury initiatives, including leading and representing treasury operations on key components
- Building and leading the continuous improvement of cash balance and cash management operations, including improved reporting, streamlining and simplification of existing processes, automation of manual process
- As business and technical expert, support the business by providing guidance, and responding to queries as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, collecting improvement opportunities, collaborating through solution design, leading change readiness, informing and coordinating through outages and production issues

**Education & Skill Requirements**
- Completion of post-secondary degree in a related field
- Must understand in-depth knowledge of banking payment and collection infrastructure and processes
- 3+ years’ experience within a similar role
- Experience in core treasury management functionalities to include cash management, settlement, and reporting
- Proactive - willing to identify issues, ask questions, recommend alternative solutions, and implement the agreed upon solution. Always supporting a culture of continuous improvement
- Strong analytical skills, attentive to details and ability to react quickly and respond to problems within tight deadlines
- Experienced in using MS Office tools to analyze, problem solve and communicate solutions to complex business problems
