**Job Summary**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated team members to join our winery staff, supporting both day-to-day operations and special events. This role offers a dynamic mix of guest-facing service in our tasting room and hands-on involvement with weddings, private events, and other celebrations. As part of our close-knit team, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for every visitor. A strong commitment to hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism is essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist guests in the tasting room and at events, ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Serve wine and food, offering product knowledge and pairing recommendations where appropriate.
- Support setup and breakdown of event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and floor plans.
- Maintain clean and organized service areas throughout the day and during events.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions, including wine sales and tastings.
- Assist with general winery operations as needed, including restocking, inventory, and opening/closing duties.
- Ensure all food and beverage service follows health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and effectively to guest needs or concerns.
- prepare charcuterie, flatbread boards, appetizer boards for guests when needed.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Strong hospitality and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Prior experience in food and/or beverage service, with wine service experience a plus. Bartending experience preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Ontario Smart Serve Required
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), including cases of wine, event furniture, and supplies.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
