**TITLE**:Retail Property Maintenance

**Purpose and Scope**:
This role will be responsible to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of the assigned retail property.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily litter pick / parking lot clean up
- Ongoing in-house repairs and maintenance (i.e. lighting changes, minor repairs, adjusting thermostats)
- Conducting regular interior/exterior, roof and property inspections
- Maintain positive working relationships with tenants and contractors
- Coordinating and monitoring suppliers and contractors on-site including providing access to restricted areas
- Communicate with management regarding all issues and activities at the property
- Ensure inspections are carried out as required
- Carry out day to day tenant requests in accordance with lease agreements
- Maintaining logbooks
- Take meter readings as required
- Police parking lots and issuing tickets when necessary
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency on-call availability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and standards
- Prepare monthly building reports for review
- Other tasks and projects as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years of similar work experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, OH&S Level 1, Working at Heights certificattions
- Basic working knowledge of Provincial Building Code & Regulations, Canadian Electrical Code, Provincial Fire Code and Electrical Safety Authority, Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and line diagrams an asset
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills including MS Outlook, Excel, Word

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
