**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the front end of the store.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Scan and bag items for customers, ensuring proper handling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with sanitizing and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience.

**Skills**:

- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating totals.
- Previous experience in food service or cashiering is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to promote additional products or services.
- Understanding of the food industry and food preparation processes.
