Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible **Class 1 Driver** to join our team In this role, you will be transporting loaded trailers to deliver our steel-manufactured products from our production shop to job sites. If you have a passion for driving and a commitment to safety, we’d love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various destinations.
- Load and secure trailers to ensure safe transport of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer.
- Follow delivery schedules and ensure on-time arrival at sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site teams to address delivery requirements.

Requirements:

- Commercial driving experience.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Experience loading, securing, and transporting various types of materials would be an asset.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on delivery schedules.
- Class 1 License (required).
- **Forklift Handling Experience** would be an asset.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Commercial driving: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
