**Pickline Sorter**

The Pickline Sorter is a production line position in a manufacturing environment. Employees will work as part of a team in order to sort recyclable material from construction and demolition debris. This individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and growing team of individuals and will have the opportunity to work in numerous areas of a modern recycling facility.

**Job Duties**:

- Manually sort recyclable materials from construction and demolition debris from a conveyer belt
- Cleaning of work area during down time and at end of shift
- Stacking or moving product may be required
- Perform assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner and abide by all Company policies and procedures
- Responsible for reporting any damage to equipment and tools to Shift Supervisor
- Communicate with fellow employees in the work area and shift supervisor via 2 way radio.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Complete and pass a drug, alcohol and fit for work test
- Pass a Criminal Record Check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lb
- Able to work under pressure
- Equipment and spatial awareness
- Verbal Communication (use of two way radio communication required, training provided)

The following certificates are not required but will be considered an asset:

- Constructive Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
- First Aid
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space Entry

**Work Conditions**:

- Indoor environment
- Constant standing, twisting and forward bending (stress mats provided)
- Fast work pace
- Constant hand activity (Griping, grasping, pushing, pulling, wrist rotation)
- Dusty environment (respiratory equipment required and training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a group setting
- Perform simple and repetitive tasks

**PPE Requirements**:

- Steel Toe boots (not provided by company)

**Transportation Travel Information**:
Public Transportation available for day shifts.

No public transportation is available at 2:30am, Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required for night shift.

**Hours & Availability**:
(24) Positions Available for (rotating schedule):
12 - 4 days on 4 days off. 6:00am - 4:30 pm

12 - 4 days on 4 days off. 4:00pm - 2:30 am

All positions are eligible for overtime as required and approved by the Supervisor.
