**full-time** position of Accounts Payable Clerk in our Corporate Payables department at the Corporate Office located in Markham, Ontario. The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Supervisor of Accounts Payable.
This position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario and will have flexibility for both remote and in-office work based on our hybrid work model.

**Responsibilities**:
- Receive and verify invoices and different requisitions
- Receive and maintains purchase orders and contracts
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Prepare batches of invoices for data entry
- Enter invoices in the system to issue payments
- Manage the weekly EFT run
- Manage the weekly cheque run and prepare manual cheques when needed
- Prepare vendor cheques for mailing and list them in the logbook
- Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers
- Print and distribute monthly financial reports
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in a related field an asset
- 3 Years of Basic Accounting Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel
- Excellent Communication both Written and Oral
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
