Bakery Production Worker

**A Bread Affair** is looking for a **part-time **Bakery Production Worker to join our amazing **Mix team** here in Langley You will be working with a group of six (6) to seven (7) other bakery team members as we create our daily selections of gourmet bread and buns. If you are someone with keen attention to detail and love to work with your hands, this is the job for you

**About the role**:
This is a part-time position to fill on select days throughout the week, with a typical shift time that goes from **1:30 to 7:30 p.m.** The main responsibilities for this position include closely following recipes and mixing together raw ingredients to create our specialty dough from scratch. This is the most physically intensive position that we have available in our bakery; **being able to lift 50 LB bags of flour throughout the shift is a must.**

**What you bring to the table**:

- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to be standing/walking for long periods of time
- The ability to work efficiently and maintain deadlines
- Verbal and written communication in English
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision and follow all safety, GMP, & SOPs
- The ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure ingredients
- Have a strong attendance/punctuality record in their previous job
- Have a positive and energetic personality and attitude
- Possess a strong work ethic with an emphasis on efficiency and quality
- **Have prior experience in a Baking Facility (preferred)**

**Compensation**:
The starting hourly rate of pay for this position is $18.50/hour
