The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is seeking a full time, contract (12 months) Research Analyst** **to support work within the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre, specifically with pharmacological interventions for people with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre is the first research and education centre in Canada dedicated to improving care for adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health challenges. The Centre’s efforts are organized around four pillars - research excellence, clinical innovation, education and training, and knowledge exchange. Currently, the centre is actively involved in two clinical trials: one exploring nabilone (a medication) for severe behavioral problems in adults with developmental disabilities, and another investigating psilocybin-assisted therapy for autistic adults with treatment-resistant depression.

In this role, tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Recruitment of autistic study participants or participants with intellectual disabilities from outpatient clinics and liaising with treating psychiatrists
- Assisting in the screening and consenting of eligible participants, scheduling and preparing for participant visits and/or interviews, and accompanying them to these visits (if needed);
- Administering assessments including conducting and scoring neuropsychological tests and clinical and functional assessment scales with a focus on the assessment of behavioural problems or depression and anxiety;
- Conducting thorough searches of electronic resources, and preparing data for presentations and peer-reviewed research papers;
- Managing and maintaining participant records, databases and study logs, per regulatory guidelines;
- Creating study tools, preparing regulatory submissions for Health Canada and Research Ethics Board, maintaining regulatory documentation, and summarizing data for progress reports; and
- Other administrative, research and evaluation activities as required.

**Job Requirements**
- Prior experience working on a Health Canada regulated research study is required. Experience with studies using psychedelics is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals and/or families with mental health and/or addictions and/or developmental disabilities is required.
- Previous experience and training in interviewing autistic people or adults with developmental disabilities is an asset.
- Previous experience administering the SCID-5, ADOS, BDI-II, HAM-D, NIH Toolbox® Cognition Battery, ABC-I, or Modified Overt Aggression Scale (MOAS) is an asset.
- Experience with studies that include MRI’s is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and database software packages is essential.
- Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing quantitative data is an asset.
- Prior experience, specifically with Matlab, SPSS, R, referencing software (e.g. EndNote), literature reviews, preparing academic posters, and journal articles, is an asset.
- Demonstrate strong communication (oral/written/conversational) skills.
- Possess strong analytical thinking skills, and can exercise initiative and good judgment.
- Superior organizational skills with high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all work while meeting project deadlines and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, study investigators, co-researchers, and within a dynamic inter-professional team environment.
- Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is an asset.
