**Early Childhood Educator for Curriculum Projects**

**Scope**:
We are looking for an individual to help build curriculum projects within our Early Childhood Education program. We are looking for an individual to take on project work. All contracts are deliverable based, rather being based on hours, they are based on the deliverables for the project. The project can be anywhere from submitting PowerPoint presentations, to completing lesson plans, to completing quizzes.

**Some sample projects (deliverables) include the below**:

- Create learning outcomes for each session
- Review and update quizzes and exams
- Review and update reading materials
- Source new learning materials such as readings and videos
- Review and update activities for the online learning environment
- Create grading rubrics for assignment

**Who You Are/What You Possess**:

- A minimum of 5 years of current and relevant experience as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
- Fully certified (Valid 5-year ECE Certification from the CBC ECE Registry)
- Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills
- Computer proficiency: good knowledge of MS Office, Google docs, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Previous experience in business writing and preparing business communications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Professional Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with learning management systems and eLearning development tools such as Camtasia is an asset
- Teaching experience is an asset but not a requirement

**Each project has a deadline that is given well in advance. This is a project based position and does not have set hours or days. We are looking for an individual who has been in the early Childhood Education field and would like to work on learning materials.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Freelance
Contract length: 1 month
Part-time hours: 5 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
