As a construction site photographer, your job is to capture images of the construction site and document the progress of the project. Your work will provide visual records of the project's evolution, and your photographs will be used for a variety of purposes, such as progress reports, marketing materials, and presentations.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Taking photographs of the construction site at different stages of the project to document progress and capture key moments.
- Utilizing specialized equipment, such as drones and aerial cameras, to capture images from unique angles.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction managers to understand the key aspects of the project and capture images that accurately represent them.
- Editing and retouching images to ensure that they meet the desired quality and requirements.
- Organizing and maintaining an image library of all the photographs taken on the construction site.
- Providing regular updates on the progress of the photography work to the project manager and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all safety regulations are followed while taking photographs on the construction site.
- Adhering to strict deadlines and delivering photographs in a timely manner.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in photography and incorporating them into the work.
To be successful as a construction site photographer, you'll need to have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and technical expertise in photography. You'll also need to be able to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
This is a 2 months contract position (full-time) with possibility of extension.
**Skills**:
- Comprehensive working knowledge of photographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, and other accessories.
- Proficiency with photo retouching and image editing software.
- Ability to adapt their style to a wide range of industry standards as well as the specific needs of each client.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage large volumes of images.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality images.
- Ability to be self-critical and articulate how their work can be improved.
- Comfortable working independently
- Dependable Team Player
- Outstanding time management skills
**Qualifications**:
- A degree or diploma in photography, fine arts, or a related field.
- A portfolio of previous work showcasing skills and expertise.
- Owning your own equipment is a great asset
- Must posses a valid Class 5 drivers license
