- Become part of the team at one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers;
- Tracks, monitors and reports on programming commitments and Canada Media Fund (CMF) programs;
- Works with scheduling to track and optimize OFR and Total Hours Tuned;
- Liaises with CMF and accesses CMF Dialogue database;
- Forecasts spending for CMF envelopes each year;
- Prepares annual data-heavy CMF Total Hours Tuned report with data obtained from NLogic/Infosys;
- Initiates and manages annual inter-departmental renewal process for television programs;
- Prepares reports and analysis as requested by executive and directors including annual data for the communique;
- Drafts Requests for Proposals (RFPs), maintains current Programming Department Guidelines document;
- Oversees the producer section of the APTN website to ensure current information is posted for APTN’s producers;
- Evaluates and analyzes technical, creative and financial aspects of programming proposals;
- Provides strategic and critical analysis on programming, broadcast and industry trends;
- Optimizes and oversees storage and communication of departmental data;
- Oversees the annual CRTC report;
- Tracks delivery dates for masters to capture and ensure optimal organization and measurement;
- Ensures compliance with funding bodies’ submission deadlines;
- Assists with developing annual strategic plans for data review and analysis.
**Your accomplishments and experience include**:

- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (broadcasting, film or television production or distribution, or statistics/analytics) combined with proven related experience;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Broadcasting knowledge is an asset;
- Experience with Canada Media Fund programs and policies is an asset.
