**General Manager**

**Reports to**: Operations Manager

**Location**: Red Deer, AB

Toad 'n' Turtle Pubhouse & Grill, Red Deer is looking for a General Manager for our Red Deer, AB location. This position is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant and its ability to meet financial goals.

The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring it is running smoothly and serving our guests with a positive experience. Their responsibility is all encompassing and begins with ensuring that the overall business is operating within the budget guidelines and expectations.

The General Manager is ultimately accountable for meeting the Budgeted Sales forecasts, Food Cost, Liquor Costs (Beer, Wine Liquor), Labour Costs (both Front and Back of House) and all other controllable costs of Direct Operating and General Administration categories.

The position requires a high level of attention to detail and knowledge of food safety standards. The position requires strong leadership skills as well as a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing conditions.

The General Manager also is responsible for facilitating the training, monitoring, and disciplining of the Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Supervisors and all staff, to ensure that they are working within their perspective job parameters under their job descriptions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including food preparation, cooking, sanitation, and storage
- Assist in menu and budget decisions
- Ensure that the restaurant meets financial goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Train new managers on how to run the restaurant efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that employees are following all health and safety regulations
- Manage employee relations including resolving any issues that may arise

Qualifications:

- 2 years of Previous experience in management are required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities with a positive attitude

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
