We're looking for a Customs Brokerage Coordinator to join our Customs team within the Freight Forwarding Division in Canada. The Customs Brokerage Coordinator is responsible for operating and processing customs clearance activities in compliance with government trade regulations in a timely fashion, with focus on supporting the team effort to meet KPIs and targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review Commercial Invoices, Bills of Lading and Purchase Orders to identify discrepancies, correct errors and ensure compliance with CCRA regulations
- Monitors clearances with Carriers; follow up on any non-clearance shipments
- Daily preparation of EDI and manual release requests to include all modes of transport for various commodities
- Ensure all documentation and filings are in accordance with Customs rules and regulations
- Completion and presentation of confirming entries
- Canadian Customs Brokerage standard operating procedures
- Support timely and accurate invoicing
- Ensure Daily Accounting files CADEX'd in CARM are billed out within the KPI timeline for reconciliation
- Ensure all shipments that are received are recorded with file level revenues, and costs are booked within the same financial period, ensuring all file cost allocations are completed before the month end or accrued into the same period
- Minimize un-allocated payments (waste - demurrage, file level errors) and occasionally assist A/R, resolving disputes for non-payment
- Contact customers to obtain NAFTA Certificates, allowing for the claim of reduced rates of duty and imports
- May prepare E-manifests as required in timeliness to CBSA Requirements, and bill in accordance with
- SOPs or notes of CW Org. or e-docs
- Complete Export Declarations as required ensuring POA on file and bill in accordance with SOPs or notes of CW Org. or e-docs

**Special working conditions**:

- Participates in weekend and /or evening callout schedules

**Qualifications**
- CSCB training for CCS Designation or CTCS
- 3+ years of customs rating in a Customs Brokerage or similar
- Fluent verbal and written English Language skills
- CW e-manifest & file creation
- OS365 good working knowledge, with advanced Excel
- E-docs mandatory documentation upload
- Knowledge of adding applicable costings
- Standard selling rates - know them & auto-rating
- Knowledge of brokerage POA requirements
- P2P, Export Control, GID - how to complete

Pay: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
