**Kinder Links Facilitators**

Under the supervision of the preschool community programming coordinator, Kinder Links Facilitators will prepare for and implement a variety of parent-child programs at various school and community venues throughout the division, including virtual programming.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Facilitate onsite and virtual parent-child programs offered through Kinder Links.
- Lead program participants in rhymes/chants, group stories, and facilitate educational games and skill building activities. Prepare age-appropriate art experiences for young children.
- Communicate with and support of preschool parents in the RETSD community
- Prepare program materials and resources and monitor their delivery to class locations
- Participate in professional learning, training, and staff meetings
- Track Kinder Links program information and compile statistics
- Practice safe physical distancing, frequent handwashing and COVID protocols. Comply with the provincial _Workplace Safety and Health Act_ and regulations applicable to RETSD.

**Qualifications**:

- Training in River East Transcona’s early learning programs (or a willingness to be trained)
- Resident/knowledge of the community areas of the River East Transcona School Division
- Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite and Teams app
- An understanding of the parenting experience
- Must enjoy working with parents and children in groups
- Group facilitation training an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work daytime and evening shifts as required
