**Position Summary**:
To provide business analysis, strategic planning, SCM and sales support to the Networks Business Division.

As the Senior Specialist, Business & SCM Analyst, you will be responsible for helping advance sales efforts through the defining, evaluating, documenting and creating of presentations of Samsung Networks product and solutions. By collaborating with our delivery and sales teams, you will help create best of breed solutions for our new and existing customers.

You are a talented individual that can demonstrate the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for formulating meaningful reports detailing the activities, actions and requirements of the Canadian Networks team to maintain a high profile with Samsung headquarters.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Financial Executions/Operations (70%)**:

- Support sales teams in reviewing and responding to RFP/RFI with particular emphasis on the Sales Operations aspects of the responses
- Supporting the sales teams in contract management with an emphasis on enforcement and awareness of clauses of the contracts across all customers related to Pricing, RMA, Logistics, Lead times, Penalties and other sales operations functions.
- Vendor management for SEA, GSC and External vendors
- Oversee RFP/RFI for new vendors
- Support the build and management of T1 TAC and ticketing system for the Canadian Market.
- Provide back up and support of existing team members for SCM, CMF and Budgeting job functions.
- Liaison with corporate planning/financial planning team
- Assist in Quarterly/Semi-Annual/Annual Strategic Planning
- Check the validity of annual and monthly targets for sales indices of each sales team such as contracts, PO(Purchase order), supply projections, invoices and inventories, and analyze the gap between the actual and the target
- Manage financial attributes in material master to avoid monthly closing issues due to wrong financial assessment or GL accounts in material master data
- Check the validity of sales promotion expenses and if there's a conflict of interests among different sales factors such as budget planning, validity of the amount and ROI (Return on Investment), set adjustment plans.
- Assist Account teams in building accurate and robust business plans and executions
- Assist Executive leadership in cost control and optimization.
- Weekly and daily Supply Chain Management reporting in support of leadership and internal stakeholders
- RMA Process Management in co-ordination with Logistics

**Industry/Market Analyses (10%)**
- Macro trends analyses; Global, Industry and Canadian market trends and identification of opportunity space
- Competitor Analysis on Canadian Network Vendors
- Manage carrier market share tracker

**Maintain/monitor/report key financial performance metrics (10%)**
- Update key performance metrics
- Create reports and presentations for Samsung Canada senior management, North America and HQ in Korea

**Accounting (10%)**
- Create vendor invoices receipts (IR) and collaborate with accounting team to pay them on time
- Manage billing invoices to customers and collaborate with credit team to collect them on time

**Education/ Knowledge/ Experience**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Information Sciences, Technology, or Engineering education an asset

**Knowledge**:

- Proficient in data analysis and report creation
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Excellent data analytical skills and a high degree of business and SCM acumen
- Strong English writing and proofreading skills
- Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working on an operation or finance team as a business analyst
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information into concise recommendations and present to a variety of audiences
- Experience building and automating management level reporting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Proficient with analytical tools, modeling and reporting
