**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Aerospace Supervisor, the Aircraft Painter will work as part of a team responsible for ensuring the end product meets specifications and customer requirements.
**Essential Functions**:
- Painting of Metallic and composite surfaces
- Paint stripping of metallic and composite surfaces
- Taping of surfaces
- Stenciling of parts
- Paint mixing to required specifications
- Maintain paint equipment and materials
- Ensure all quality documentation is properly filled out and complete.
**Job Qualifications**:
- 3 - 5 years experience in industrial painting (aircraft preferred)
- Sound knowledge of spray painting equipment
- Read, write and speak English.
- Correct colour recognition.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with schematics, blueprints and other technical documentation.
- Ability to wear air supplied respirator
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Controlled Goods Clearance will be required.
