Our AV Technicians focus on Audio, video and lighting engineering and the role involves the set-up, operation and dismantling of the equipment as well as shop and equipment maintenance responsibilities. **What you will have the opportunity to do**:

- Set-up, operation and dismantle of AV equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise
- Liaise with internal team to develop solutions for audio/video/lighting configurations in order to meet project requirements
- Provides an exceptional customer service experience to clients and/or venue staff
- Loading and unloading of equipment from trucks or trailers
- Driving company vehicles and operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Assist in the prep and de-prep of equipment and provide general warehouse support
- Ensure proper storage, transportation and maintenance of equipment
- Complete required paperwork and data entry in a timely and accurate manner
- Other duties as required

**To be successful in this role you**:

- Have 1+ years of audio visual experience within live events
- High school education required and an AV technical education is preferred
- Have a valid class 5 BC drivers license or equivalent (preferred)
- Are physically fit, safety-minded and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have a professional work ethic with a positive can-do attitude
- Are a Reliable team player who is flexible and willing to assist with other departments as appropriate
- Possess strong problem solving skills with the ability be proactive and identify potential issues
- Have the ability to be flexible in working hours and be available to work outside of regular business hours
- Must be able to comply with safety and vaccination requirements of our Venues/Clients
