**Job description**

**Expert Physio Plus** is a wellness and rehabilitation center with two locations in Gloucester and Orleans.We have a progressive and dynamic practices that are known for delivering exceptional and personalized physiotherapy care, massage therapy and Osteopathic therapy that help people of all ages reach their optimal functional ability and quality of life.

We have a steady flow of new patients as we have been in town for over five years. We have excellent ties to the community and are located within areas that have great anchor stores for client traffic.

As our clinic continues to grow, we are looking to hire an **experienced physiotherapist assistant **to join our professional team of Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopathic therapists and Kinesiologists.

As a PTA at Expert Physio Plus, you are an important member of our clinical team. You are responsible for assisting with client care as directed by a Physiotherapist, and for the maintenance and cleanliness of the treatment area and equipment. As a significant contributor, you are the type of person who will take pride in the thoroughness of your work and the strong relationships you develop with your clients and co-workers.

**Your responsibilities would include**:

- Teaching/supervising exercise programs to clients as prescribed by the physiotherapists.
- Updating exercise sheets.
- Explaining and using modalities (TENS, U/S, muscle stim etc.)
- Updates patients’ progress notes.
- Cleaning/sterilization of medical and exercise equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Personal and friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Previous private clinic experience is a strong asset.
- A degree in the field of Kinesiology or human kinetics is preferred.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
