Jr Automotive Parts Advisor

**Position Summary**

The Dueck Automotive Group is excited to offer an excellent opportunity to kickstart a career in Automotive Parts.

As a **Junior Automotive Parts Advisor,** you will learn the skills required to be successful in a stable work environment at our newest dealership, Dueck Isuzu.

You will gain an understanding of how a parts department operates from shipping and receiving to accessing parts in our state-of-the-art computer system. You will also learn to be comfortable answering phones and helping technicians and customers at the counter. Occasional picking up and delivery of parts is also required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the parts inventory stock
- Source and place accurate parts orders for customers, technicians and stock
- Monitor the status of orders to ensure timely delivery of parts and communicate with various departments accordingly
- Provide exceptional service to customers, both over the phone and in person, by answering inquiries and clearly explaining parts accessories and current specials available
- Maintain detailed records of delivery pick-ups
- Receive payments from customers (cash and credit/debit)

**Technical Skills & Requirements**
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- General mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Previous automotive experience is an asset
- Commitment to continuous learning to update product knowledge and industry trends

**Logistical Requirements**

The Parts Department is open six days a week—Monday to Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a full-time position available at our **Dueck Isuzu location.**
