**Position: Marketing & Operations Assistant**

This position resides in Markham, ON and is for a full-time entry-level position, starting immediately.

In a start-up environment, you will be supporting & working with various team members and senior management on a variety of marketing and operations related initiatives, such as: customer acquisition, market research, product launches, sourcing, manufacturing & logistics, regulatory compliance and customer support. This will require creative problem solving, and working cohesively with other team members on technical, cost and time trade-offs. You will acquire new skills and increasing responsibilities, leading to a successful and rewarding career path.

**Your Responsibilities will include Supporting and Assisting with**:

- Marketing, Market Research, Branding, Sales & Customer Feedback
- Customer acquisition & value proposition strategies
- Social Media and Marketing Campaigns
- Digital Communications, such as Web page, media & graphic design
- Regulatory requirements (e.g. product safety & efficacy)
- Research on materials and processes for new market-driven products

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- A degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, Communications or other relevant major is preferred. An additional science engineering or technical background would also be a great asset.
- Driven, self-motivated & pro-active individual with strong communication skills
- Ability to strategize start-to-send solutions
- Excellent independent and group problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines

**Preferred**:

- Some Marketing, Market Research, Sales or Customer related experience
- Experience in Branding, Product-Market fit, Customer Surveys, Value Proposition Canvas, Lead Generation, Inventory Management would be an asset
- Social Media, Advertising, Marketing Campaign (online or offline) experience would be an asset
- Advanced PC/Web skills - such as Web page, HTML & graphic design would be a great asset

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:
