FTG is an aerospace and defense electronics product and subsystem supplier to customers around the globe. FTG has two operating units:
FTG Circuits is a manufacturer of high technology, high reliability printed circuit boards. Our customers are leaders in the aviation, defense, and high technology industries. FTG Circuits has operations in Toronto, Ontario, Chatsworth, California, Fredericksburg, Virginia, Minnetonka, Minnesota, Haverhill, Massachusetts and a joint venture in Tianjin, China.

FTG Aerospace designs, certifies, manufactures, and provides in-service support for illuminated cockpit products and electronic assemblies for original equipment manufacturers and operators of aerospace and defense equipment. FTG Aerospace has operations in Toronto, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta, Chatsworth, California and Tianjin, China.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process company payables in an accurate and timely manner.
- Post all vendor invoices after matching purchase orders and packing slips to the appropriate accounts in the ERP system.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve disputes. Respond promptly to supplier inquiries concerning outstanding invoices.
- Prepare bi-weekly cheque run, EFT payments and ACH payments, obtain required signatures and mail cheques.
- Ensure A/R and A/P related general ledger reconciliations are completed monthly in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure the daily entry of cash receipts to the A/R ledger, daily invoicing, as necessary, in the ERP system.
- Prepare bank deposits for customer cheques.
- Manage all AR/AP records.
- Monthly Bank reconciliation, journal entries, and file monthly HST returns.
- Assist with month-end/year end closing and year end audit work as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in the accounting field.
- Experience with Paradigm or other ERP software in a manufacturing environment with detailed knowledge of the finance/accounting module.
- Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft excels and word program, working with large
- spreadsheet desirable.
- Must be eligible for CGP clearance.
