We are seeking a reliable and friendly Counter Staff to join our team. As a Counter Staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient operations at the counter. This is a vital role in our food industry establishment, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and has excellent communication skills.

Established in 2002 we are both a restaurant and catering company. Front of house staff assists in catering operations as well as the store front. This includes occasional deliveries, packing catering trays, and organizing catering operations.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as necessary

**Skills**:

- Must be an organized individual that works well under pressure
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in operating a POS system and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
- Ability to handle food preparation tasks following proper sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
