Artemis Technologies is seeking a Production Technician who is passionate about biologicals and science for a full-time permanent position

**About Us**

Artemis Technologies is owned by Ceva Animal Health. The Artemis Technologies location produces rabies vaccine baits for wildlife.

Ceva Animal Health Canada established itself in Canada with the acquisitions of CentaurVA Animal Health and Vetech Laboratories in October 2011. Our Canadian presence expanded during 2019 when we acquired IDT Biologika subsidiary Gallant Custom Laboratories manufacturer of autogenous vaccines.

Ceva offers an expanding range of products for companion animals, poultry, swine, and ruminants for Canadian customers.

**About the Job**

As the Production Technician you will work to make vaccine baits for wildlife. This will include running of the aseptic filling/packaging machine and the coating machine.

**Duties Include**:

- Prepare biological media and supplies
- Disposal of biohazard waste
- Operation of large scale sterilizing equipment/autoclaves
- Laboratory work including media preparation and testing
- Glassware and equipment disinfecting
- Operate the filling/packaging machine and the coating machine
- Inform & escalate in case of issue or in case can't solve / deviation.
- Identify and report irregularities identified with any aspects of work.
- Review production batch records.
- Ensures 5S standards are met and maintained.
- Respect operating time yield standards.
- Analyze some variances and propose implementation of action plans.
- Complete and check batch reports.
- Raise alert in case of dangerous situations, near miss/miss, QA deviation etc.
- Update & monitor performance indicators, analyze gaps, propose and perform resolution actions. Propose and implement ideas for improvement (short/medium term).
- Actively participate in occasional site/ department projects and in continuous improvement workshops
- Share good practices.

**About You**
- You have a minimum of a High School diploma
- You are physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.
- You are a team player
- You have demonstrated verbal and written English communication skills
- Ideally you have a mechanical aptitude and pervious machine operation experience

Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $880.00 per week
