**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Meal Service and Catering**
- Prepare table settings for breakfast, lunch & dinner to set standards
- Provide efficient and professional level table service
- Serve food and beverages during meals, social gatherings and events as required
- Assist in and around the kitchen as required

**Housekeeping**
- Prepare and maintain all living spaces for the principals and guests at the required standard. To include:

- Daily cleaning and care of furniture, windows, carpets, fireplaces, doors, architrave, skirting boards and floors on a daily basis
- Ensuring all fabrics, ceramics, glass, metals and crystal are cleaned and cared for according to established methods
- Completion of morning and afternoon service making beds, refreshing flowers, folding and returning clothing, checking & cleaning bathrooms and evening turn down.
- Packing and unpacking clothing and accessories
- Assisting with all laundry tasks - ironing of fine clothing, linens, bed linens, tablecloths, towels and occasional, basic repairs to clothing

**Maintenance and logistics**
- Provide general maintenance support to Property Operations Supervisor as required and directed. Includes but is not limited to:

- Property set up in spring, landscape maintenance, site tidiness, garbage management and boat and vehicle care
- Assisting in the movement of supplies, materials and people to and from the island site and staff house
- Set up, close down, cleaning and maintenance of the staff house

**Job Requirements**
- An ability to deliver the highest levels of service in a professional, polished way maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Positive, ‘can do’ attitude and good communication skills
- An eye for detail
- Ability to stay calm and remain highly competent under pressure
- Willingness to contribute and provide support whenever and wherever it is needed including working long hours in a sometimes rapidly changing environment
- Assets include hospitality work experience or education, the ability to drive and boating experience
- Must have a current legal working status in Canada.

**Job Location**

Pointe au Baril, Ontario, Canada (Parry Sound)
