**Job Description**:
As a Class 1 Truck Driver/Operator, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various destinations. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain Class 1 commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Your duties will include:
Safely operating and maneuvering Class 1 commercial vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or tankers, to transport goods to assigned destinations.

Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper securement and adherence to weight distribution guidelines.

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify and report any mechanical issues or damages.

Following designated routes and delivery schedules while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues, maintaining a high level of customer service, and representing the company in a positive manner.

Adhering to all relevant traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.

Completing necessary documentation, including trip reports, fuel records, and maintenance logs.

Troubleshooting minor vehicle issues and performing basic maintenance tasks, such as tire changes, fluid checks, or light repairs when needed.

Complying with company protocols regarding accident reporting, incident investigations, and insurance claims.

**Qualifications**:
Valid Class 1 commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Proven experience as a Class 1 Truck Driver/Operator, preferably in Construction.

Extensive knowledge of applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices.

Ability to operate and navigate various types of Class 1 commercial vehicles.

Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting, bending, and climbing.

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Moncton, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
