The Community Employment Agency provides employment services to Person with “Intellectual Disabilities” (including those considered slow learners) as well as Persons with “Brain Injury”.

We have available a **FULL-TIME JOB COACH** position, supporting individuals throughout the South
- East region of New Brunswick.

**Responsibilities**:

- To represent the agency and clientele to the business community and general

public in a professional manner.
- To be a positive role model for the individual that they are supporting.
- Participate in the development of service plans/goals for individuals.
- Develop and implement programming specific to the job and individual.
- Accountable for all necessary documentation in relation to the individual and

their employment.
- Teach all required skills related to the employment position.
- Provide monitoring support as required
- Completion of training/monitoring reports.
- Liaison between the individual. employer, community, and service provider.
- Follow the guidelines of CEA placement process.
- Follow METS Principles of Quality Service Delivery
- Conduct Vocational Assessment and skill assessments
- Facilitate Interview preparation / readiness sessions
- Other related duties as required

WORKING CONDITIONS

The Job Coach duties are performed both within community settings, and within the main office. The job coach is guaranteed 37.5hrs week. Work hours may be in excess of 37.5hrs depending on employment site.Actual working times may fluctuate depending on employment site, and specific needs.

Qualifications: College Diploma (Human Services Counselling) or better, or an equivalent combination of education and/ minimum of 2 years of work experience on behalf/or for the disability sector.

Other: A reliable vehicle is required. Current Criminal Record Check as well as Social Development Check. Bilingualism is an asset for this position

Pay: $22.03 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
