Role and Responsibilities

Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, on s'attendra à ce que le Gestionnaire de projets effectue ce qui suit:

- Gérer les ressources humaines, financières et opérationnelles nécessaires pour répondre aux obligations contractuelles du projet et à celles liées à l'entreprise afin d'assurer la rentabilité.
- Gérer des prototypes ou des projets à risque élevé ainsi que contribuer aux activités liées au développement stratégique de gammes de produits et à l'amélioration des produits.
- Élaborer un plan de gestion de projet pour des projets uniques et complexes.
- Établir les buts et les objectifs pour des projets uniques et complexes ayant d'importantes répercussions financières.
- Assurer un leadership quotidien aux membres de l'équipe.
- Recommander des initiatives liées à l'amélioration et participer à leur mise en place.

Les responsabilités comprendront mais ne seront pas limitées à:

- Élaborer des procédures et des lignes directrices pour l'exécution des activités de gestion de projet.
- Aider à la mise en évidence des domaines déficients au niveau des spécifications techniques du client et proposer de nouvelles solutions.
- Diriger plusieurs projets impliquant simultanément une variété d'activités liées aux ressources, à l'ordonnancement, à la sous-traitance et à d'autres activités de gestion de projet.
- Négocier les conditions générales des accords de sous-traitance et de travail partagé.
- Résoudre les problèmes liés à la réalisation du projet ou au calendrier d'exécution en modifiant l'ordre de priorité des activités.
- Agir à titre de personne-ressource principale du client sur des questions relatives au projet, y compris les négociations et l'obtention de garanties de l'acceptation du client.
- Soutenir les aspects techniques ainsi que ceux concernant les coûts et l'échéancier des propositions.
- Mettre en œuvre la structure de répartition des travaux associés au projet.
- Coordonner les activités techniques du projet.
- Formuler des recommandations concernant le recrutement et d'autres activités liées aux ressources humaines (p. ex., évaluation du rendement) pour les administrateurs de projets.
- Exploiter, tirer parti des possibilités de modification du contrat ou d'ajout d'un contrat secondaire afin d'élargir la portée du projet, de résoudre les problèmes liés à la portée ou aux finances ou d'améliorer le rendement financier des contrats à prix fixe en réduisant les coûts.

**Qualifications**:

- Baccalauréat en ingénierie, en gestion de projet ou en commerce ou formation équivalente.
- De 6 à 8ans d'expérience pertinente au minimum.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais.

In this role, the Project Manager will be expected to:

- Manage the human, financial and operational resources necessary to meet contractual and company related obligations of the project to ensure profitability.
- Handle prototypes or high risk projects and contribute to activities related to strategic product line process and product improvement.
- Develop project management plan for unique and complex projects.
- Establish goals and objectives for unique and complex projects of major financial impact.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for team members.
- Recommend and participate on improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Develop procedures and guidelines for executing project management activities.
- Support identification of deficient areas in customer’s technical specifications and suggest new technical solutions.
- Direct multiple projects, simultaneously involving a variety of resourcing, scheduling, subcontracting and other project management activities.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontract and work share agreements.
- Resolve project work/schedule problems by reprioritizing activities.
- Act as primary liaison with customer on project matters including negotiations and securing customer acceptance.
- Support technical, cost and schedule aspects of proposals.
- Implement project work breakdown structure.
- Coordinate technical activities of project.
- Make recommendations regarding recruiting and other human resources activities (e.g., performance review) for project administrators.
- Develop/capitalize on opportunities for contract amendments and/or side contracts to extend project scope, solve scope/financial problems or improve fixed-price financial returns by reducing costs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in engineering, project management, commerce or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 to 8years of related experience.
- Fluency in English
