**Pharmacy Assistant**

Permanent **Full-time** (this _**position will start off as part-time hours for training leading into a full-time permanent position start of the 2024 year**_). The current full-time employee will be re-locating. Full-time will be Monday to Friday no evening, weekends or holidays.

We are hiring a Pharmacy Assistant who will work under the direction of the Pharmacist or regulated Pharmacy Technician(s). Duties and responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
**Main Duties**:

- The position will be taking over the high volume, fast paced compliance packaging room
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Using the Kroll Software computer system
- Filling and packaging of blister packs
- Answer telephone, ensuring that appropriate telephone etiquette is used at all times and handling customer inquiries
- Data entry for new and repeat prescriptions
- Manage incoming faxes

**Work Conditions**:

- Manual dexterity required.
- Interacts with employees, management and the public at large.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Sitting, standing, bending and walking.
- Repetitive work.
