**How You'll Perform the Role**
This position is responsible for the activities of inspecting, testing, auditing and reporting on materials, processes, products and finished goods to ensure conformance with company specifications and quality standards using various measuring instruments and techniques.

**Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities**:

- Back-up to Quality Coordinator
- Responsible for the testing of products and recording data including Lab Testing
- Notifying management of non-conforming material
- Write and prepare daily quality/product reporting
- Ensure all company safety standards are being utilized
- Perform safety and quality audits
- Record and save data in company database
- Assist in Mock Recall and Recalls and Food Safety thru GMP implementation.
- Maintain objectives through the effective implementation of ISO & SQF certifications.
- Responsible for training of Quality Program
- Assist in trials and product development
- Other duties as assigned

**What We Need From You**
- **Able to work steady afternoon shift (3:30 pm - 11:30 pm) but flexible.**:

- Post-secondary education as Quality Technician Process Technician or equivalent
- Ability to work overtime when required/some weekends and shifts will be required
- Experience with product testing, past quality experience required
- Auditing experience a plus
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Familiar with ISO9001:2015 and/or NSF SQF Level 2 or equivalent
- Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
- Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
