Vickery Electric Contracting Ltd. is looking for a motivated and skilled **4th or 5th term Electrical Apprentice** to join our growing team. With over 100 years of continuous service in the Durham Region and GTA, we specialize in commercial, industrial, service/maintenance, and new construction projects — and we’re looking for an apprentice who’s ready to hit the ground running.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **4th or 5th term Electrical Apprentice** (Only applicants at these stages will be considered)
- **Commercial and industrial experience is required**:

- Strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code (OESC)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with tools, conduit bending, cable pulling, panel installation, and system integration
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
- Willingness to take direction and work alongside journeypersons on high-paced job sites
- Solid problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

**Duties Will Include**:

- Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on commercial and industrial job sites
- Running conduit, pulling wire, installing lighting, panels, and electrical devices
- Supporting service calls and preventative maintenance work
- Working collaboratively with journeypersons and team members to complete tasks on time and on budget
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area
- Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in the trade
- Current safety certifications: Working at Heights, WHMIS, Worker Health & Safety Awareness
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Immediate availability preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
