Join our team to support our purpose of enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future. **Position Snapshot** **Business areas**:Nestlé Canada **Job title**:eCommerce Analyst **Location**:North York, Ontario **Grade Level**:16 **Position Summary** The eCommerce Analyst will be accountable for developing analytically-driven insights in eCommerce that will result in greater consumer and customer engagement plans, ensuring the consumer and shopper are at the centre of decision making. In addition, supporting all aspects in 3 key areas: Category, Brand and Customer Analytical process and insight integration; Effective and efficient systems that deliver business intelligence to sales, marketing, and senior leadership and Partner Management and Best-In-Class analytical approaches. A key part of this role is evaluating and adapting new sets of data into how we measure success within eCommerce and establishing new tools and ways in which to approach measurement. **A day in the life of an eCommerce Analyst... **Develops actionable insights to the Businesses and eCommerce team driving discipline in fact-based decision making**: - Integrated insight and recommendations across Category, Brand and Customer to build consumer/shopper loyalty and Customer engagement (category & brand leadership) - Contributes to the development of annual business and customer plans - Leads KPI measurement and “how to win” actions within eCommerce (category, brand, customer score carding) - Support the execution of eCommerce Retail Digital Media campaigns (pre/post evaluations) - Stay ahead on emerging eCommerce Data and evaluate new data sets, usage and integration to stay ahead of market **Leads the development and maintenance of fact-based tools and reports from initial concept to testing, launch and final implementation across all categories**: - Act as an internal champion (between Marketing & Sales) leading all new data streams into reporting - Use advanced analytical and technical expertise to enable reports and tools addressing key business issues for ongoing and ad hoc requirements - Synthesize multiple data sources in Tools and Analytic Initiatives. Leverage full suite of Nielsen, Customer eCommerce POS Sales, emerging eCommerce data, qualitative/quantitative research with a focus on driving growth. Automation of causal, tracking reports (exception reporting, analytical reporting). Integrated KPI scorecards (internal, external data) **"Go-to" Expert in eCommerce Data for Marketing/CD/Insight Teams** - Develop insights/analysis using all customer and share data tools (Stackline, etc.) to identify and address business issues and questions - Track performance of key launches through delivering tracking tools, compelling Insight decks, competitive cross-Category benchmarks and presenting regular updates to relevant teams **Supports Partnerships with all 3rd Party Syndicated Data Engagements and Customer **JBPs** - Leverages Partners to understand best-in-class use of Nielsen, POS/Loyalty Data, emerging eCommerce data - Manages day-to-day relationships with Vendor Partners - bi-weekly meetings, regular updates - Have direct relationships with key eRetailers to understand key data metrics **What will make you successful - Minimum 3-5 years combined sales/marketing and analytics experience - Experience in managing multiple Customer POS data and systems - Demonstrated ability to generate actionable insights out of big data - Ability to disseminate and synthesize diverse and vast data while simplifying complex concepts to stakeholders - Strong storytelling skills and the ability to provide clear and persuasive business recommendations - Completed University Degree ideally in Business Administration with a focus on sales, marketing, or finance We have a friendly, supportive team with a coaching and mentoring environment.
