Private Parking Control & Traffic Services is a niche provider of Parking Control and Security Services to a wide array of clients. We are looking to hire a detail oriented Professionals who take pride in their work.

We are currently hiring for a **Full Time Parking Enforcement Officer / Security Guard Position. The position is on a night shift rotation schedule with 8-10 hour shifts.**

Responsibilities for this position include the following:

- Patrol properties to issue Parking Tickets to illegally parked vehicles on Private Property
- Ability to issue parking ticket that may be hand written or electronic computerized
- Ability to bend so as to facilitate the chalking of vehicle tires
- Attend Parking Court as required to defend parking tickets issued
- Provide Security Patrols either on foot or by vehicle
- Work in all weather conditions
- Driver Licence is required
- Opportunity to attend additional security guard locations to cover book-offs, lateness, or no shows
- Attend to Alarm Response calls for service
- Attend service calls to assist ATM technicians
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work with & communicate with emergency services ( EMS, Fire, Police)
- Exterior and interior patrols of properties
- Responding to threats and any emergency that may arise.
- Enforcement of applicable legislation when authorized (Criminal Code, Trespass to Property Act, etc.).
- Ensuring restricted areas are secure Identifying and reporting all safety concerns and hazards
- Ensure that all post orders and emergency procedures are followed
- Providing a high level of customer service to all clients and patrons

**Qualifications**:

- Valid G Class Ontario Driver’s License
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License and Experience

**Assets**:

- Certificate / Appointments as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer (MLEO) or Parking Officer in any municipality to issue municipal parking tickets on private property.

**Accommodation**:
Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

**Experience**:

- Parking Enforcement: 1 year (preferred)
- By-law: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard licence (required)
- Class G Licence (required)
